How to create renderings of your 3D objects

Renderings are photorealistic product images in high quality. In this article you will learn how to create renderings from your 3D objects in rooom.

You have several options when rendering products:

You can...

1. Create a rendering for a product in the Product Editor.
   We recommend this option if you want to create a rendering from a particular perspective, since you can freely choose the perspective in the Product Editor.
2. Create multiple renderings for a product in the Dashboard.
   We recommend this option if you want to create multiple rendererings of a product from multiple perspectives or in different formats.
3. Create multiple renderings for multiple products in the Dashboard.
   We recommend this option if you want to render multiple products at once.
4. View and download renderings.

Create a rendering for a product in the Product Editor

1. To create a rendering of your 3D object, open the desired object in the Product Editor. (Click on the object in the Dashboard).
2. Align your object in the Product Editor as it should be displayed later in the renderings.
3. Click on the "Render" button in the upper right corner.
   
4. By clicking on the "Active Renderings" button you can see the status of the current rendering.
   
5. For more complex objects, rendering can take a few minutes.

Create multiple renderings for one product in the Dashboard

You can also easily create renderings of your products in the Dashboard.

1. To create renderings of a product, click on the -menu at the desired product and select the "Render" menu item.
   
2. In the menu that opens, you can now select all the templates according to which your product should be rendered. If you select more than one, a rendering will be created for each selection.
   
3. You can also choose the format for the renderings. In case of a multiple selection, the renderings will be created in all selected formats.
4. At the end click on Render and a rendering will be started.
5. You can download your renderings from the Dashboard after they are created.

Creating multiple renderings for multiple products in the Dashboard

You can also create renderings for multiple products at once in the Dashboard.

1. To do so, click on "Select objects" in the upper right corner.
2. You will now see all objects that are available for rendering.
   
3. Select the desired products and click on "Render" at the bottom.
4. In the menu that opens, you can now select all the templates according to which your product should be rendered. If you select more than one, a rendering will be created for each selection.
   
5. You can also choose the format for the renderings. In case of a multiple selection, the renderings will be created in all selected formats.
6. At the end click on Render and a rendering will be started.
7. You can download your renderings from the Dashboard after they are created.

View and download renderings

1. To download your renderings, go to the Dashboard.
2. You can tell if renderings have already been created for the object by the small image icon in the preview image (rendering icon).
   
3. Click the rendering icon to see the list of renderings created for this object.
4. Select the renderings you want and download them using the Download button.
