The User List in the Space Viewer shows you who is active, allows you to control your microphone, and use the raise-hand function.

The User List not only gives you an overview of all participants but also enables you to use features such as "Raise Hand" or toggling your microphone on and off. You can also see the status of other participants, such as active microphones or raised hands.

How to Open and Close the User List

Opening and closing the User List is simple, so you can always keep track of participants:

    1. Open the User List: Click the User List button at the top right of the Space Viewer. The button displays the current number of participants.
    2. Close the User List: Click on the User List header to close it.

Features for You in the User List

As an active participant, you can control your presence in the Space. The most important features are:

    • Raise Hand: Activate the raise-hand function to signal that you would like to speak.
    • Toggle Microphone: Use the list to mute or unmute your microphone.

Your name will be marked with “(you)” in the User List to make it easier to find yourself.

What Does the User List Show for Other Participants?

You can observe the status of other users but cannot control them directly. Here is what the User List shows:

    • Hand Symbol: Indicates when a participant has raised their hand.
    • Microphone Symbol: Shows whether a participant's microphone is active or muted.
    • Sleeping Smiley: Indicates that a participant is inactive or away.

These status indicators help you see who wants to speak or whose microphone is currently active.

Find Participants Quickly – The Search Function

When there are many participants in the Space, the list can quickly become overwhelming. The search function helps you:

    1. Click on the search field at the top of the User List.
    2. Enter the name of the participant you want to find.
    3. The list will immediately display the participant you are looking for.

This allows you to search for people quickly and maintain a clear overview.
