Moderator Features in the Space Viewer

As a moderator, you have extended options to manage participants and control the voice chat.

Moderator Access – How to Enter a Space Viewer as a Moderator

To enter the Space Viewer as a moderator, you need a special URL. You can create and update this URL in the dashboard via the space settings.

1. Go to the Dashboard and open the Space Settings.
   
2. Under Access->Moderator URL, click on Generate Moderator URL.
   
3. You can now copy or delete the URL using the two buttons:
   

Moderator Badge in the User List

Moderators are easy to identify in the user list. Your name will be marked with a small crown, so others know you are a moderator.

Managing Participants – Your Control Options

As a moderator, you have several options to maintain order in the space:

Mute Participants

If a participant is being disruptive or causing unwanted noise, you can mute them.

1. Open the User List.
2. Find the participant's name.
3. Click the “Mute” icon next to the user.
   

Mute All Participants

If there is too much noise or you need silence for a presentation, you can mute all participants at once.

1. Open the User List.
2. Click the option “Mute all temporarily”.
   

Remove Participants from the Space

If a user violates rules or is unwanted, you can remove them from the space.

1. Open the User List.
2. Find the participant's name.
3. Click the “Remove Participant” icon next to the user.
   

Disable Voice Chat for Everyone Except Moderators

If you want only moderators to be able to speak, you can disable voice chat for everyone else.

1. Open the User List.
2. Turn off the option “Allow Audio Chat”.
   

Effective Moderation – Tips for an Organized Space

• Use the mute function only when necessary to maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
• If needed, you can assign multiple moderators to manage the space together.
• Use the search function in the user list to quickly find specific participants.
