Sitting spots allow visitors to sit at a specific location in the Space, for example during events or interactive experiences.
What are sitting spots?
Sitting spots are special interaction points in the Space that allow visitors to sit at a designated position. They are particularly useful for presentations, panels or lounge areas as they can improve the user experience.
How to add sitting spots in the Space Editor
You can easily place sitting spots using the Space Editor. Here's how:
- Click the plus symbol (+) at the bottom right of the Space Editor to add a new object.
- From the options, select "Sitting Spot".
- Place the sitting spot at the desired location in the room.
A seated avatar will automatically appear at the spot. This allows you to immediately see how the sitting position will look later in the Space Viewer.
How sitting spots work in the Space Viewer
In the accessible Space (the Space Viewer), visitors will see the sitting spots you placed. They can sit on them with a single click.
- Hover the mouse cursor over a sitting spot.
- Click the spot or press the F key. Your avatar will automatically sit at that position.
- This allows you to sit at virtual tables or create a relaxed atmosphere.
- To get up, you can simply move with the arrow keys or WASD or click on the gesture button at the bottom center.
