In the Space Viewer, you can use quick reactions like emojis to express your mood, show agreement, or give feedback โ€“ all without using your microphone.

    What are reactions?

Reactions are small symbols you can use in the Space Viewer to communicate nonverbally. They appear directly in the virtual space and are visible to all participants. For example, you can give a ๐Ÿ‘ to show agreement or ๐Ÿ‘ to applaud without interrupting the flow of conversation.

    How to find the reactions

At the bottom of the screen in the Space Viewer, youโ€™ll find the reactions.

Click on the smiley icon to open the selection of reactions you can use.

To trigger a reaction, simply click on it!

    Which reactions are available?

You have several reactions to choose from, depending on the situation:

    1. โœ‹ Raise hand โ€“ to signal that youโ€™d like to speak
    2. ๐Ÿ‘ Thumbs up โ€“ to show agreement or โ€œlikeโ€
    3. โค๏ธ Heart โ€“ to express appreciation
    4. ๐Ÿ˜Š Smiley โ€“ to express joy or good mood
    5. ๐Ÿ‘ Applause โ€“ perfect for congratulating someone or showing appreciation
    6. โ˜• Coffee cup โ€“ a signal that you need a short break

    Raise hand โ€“ Lower hand

When you activate the โœ‹ raise hand reaction, it will remain active until you deactivate it yourself. To lower your hand, simply click on the hand icon again. This way, moderators immediately know that your contribution is finished or that youโ€™ve withdrawn your request to speak.

    Tips for moderators

As a moderator, you should keep an eye on the participant list to ensure you donโ€™t miss any raised hands or important signals. All reactions are displayed not only above avatars in the Space but also in the user list.
