How to edit your rooom profile

In your profile, you can customize your name and profile picture to personalize your account. Here you’ll learn where to find the settings and how to make changes.

Open your profile settings

To edit your profile, first go to the Profile section in the left navigation bar. There you’ll find all personal settings related to your account.

1. Log in to your rooom account.
2. Click on Profile in the left sidebar.
3. In the main area, select the Profile tab (this is usually active by default).

Change your name and username

Here you can edit your username, first name, and last name. These details are displayed in your profile as well as in public projects or spaces.

1. Enter your desired username in the corresponding field.
2. Update your first name and last name if needed.
3. Click Save to apply your changes.

Upload a profile picture (avatar)

Below your name information, you’ll find the section for your profile picture (avatar). Here you can add a personal image or replace your existing one.

1. Scroll down in the Profile section to the Avatar area.
2. Click the avatar icon.
3. Choose an image in PNG, JPG, or JPEG format.
4. Note that the maximum file size is 5 MB.
5. After uploading, your new profile picture will appear automatically.

Change your email address

If you want to change your email address, this can only be done through support for security reasons.

1. Click the link “please contact our support” in the note below your email address.
2. Write a short message with your change request.
3. The support team will verify your request and make the update for you.

That’s it – your profile has been successfully updated, including your personal name and profile picture.
