If you want to cancel or permanently delete your rooom account, you can easily request it here. But before doing so, please read what happens in the process – and what alternatives you have to continue using your account flexibly.

 

How to request deletion or cancellation

If you decide to terminate your rooom account, you can easily submit your deletion or cancellation request via your account settings or by email:

  1. Open the Profile section in your rooom dashboard.
  2. Scroll down to the Delete account section.
  3. Click the Delete my account button – this will automatically open an email to cancellation@rooom.com.
  4. Briefly describe your request in the email (e.g. “I would like to delete my account” or “I would like to cancel my subscription”).
  5. Send the email – the rooom team will verify your request, take care of everything else, and confirm the cancellation.

 

What happens when you delete your account

Once your account has been successfully deleted, all your stored content and data on rooom’s servers will be permanently erased – including 3D Spaces, 3D Products, events, and custom settings. After that, restoration is no longer possible.

The deletion process is, of course, GDPR-compliant. This means your personal data will be completely removed unless legal retention obligations apply (e.g. for billing data).

 

Important notice for subscriptions

If you have an active paid subscription, the rooom Terms and Conditions specify a notice period of three months before the end of the contract term. Your cancellation must be submitted in text form – either by email to cancellation@rooom.com or in writing to:

Before you cancel – consider these options

If you’re thinking about cancelling, first check whether one of these options might suit you better:

  1. Downgrade to the Base version: This allows you to keep using your account at a lower cost – ideal if you just need a break.
  2. Contact support: Many contractual or technical questions can easily be resolved. Write to the support team – they’ll be happy to help you find the right solution.
