Ready Player Me is discontinuing its service. rooom has prepared for this and is switching to its own avatar system to ensure avatars in your Spaces continue to run reliably. The transition happens automatically, with no action required from you.

What’s changing?

Ready Player Me has been an external avatar partner of rooom. Since Ready Player Me has announced that its services will no longer be available after January 31, 2026, rooom is migrating to its own avatar system.

This is a targeted upgrade to ensure the long-term availability of avatars in your Spaces.
